Meet Dr. Taylor Yeardie (Henderson, KY)

Taylor Yeardie, O.D. received her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Pikeville Kentucky College of Optometry in 2022. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Penn State Erie, The Behrend College in 2018.

Dr. Yeardie has special interests in emergency eye care, comprehensive eye examinations, cataract surgery co-management, contact lenses, and glaucoma. She chose optometry after experiencing firsthand how life-changing eye care can be and wanted to provide that same impact to others.

What Dr. Yeardie enjoys most about being an optometrist is helping patients achieve their best vision. She loves meeting new patients and being able to positively impact their lives just as much as they impact hers.

Originally from a small town south of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Dr. Yeardie recently moved to Owensboro. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her mini labradoodle, Bentley.
